MEET THE TEAM

Derrick is the co-owner of Reliable Fence Company and has been a key leader in the family-owned business for over 30 years. With a deep commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, Derrick oversees the operations of Reliable Fence, ensuring every project meets the company’s high standards. He routinely goes out on sales calls to meet with prospects, survey projects, and ensure customer satisfaction. Derrick proudly follows in the footsteps of his father, Stan. Stan first worked for Reliable Fence of Norwell, MA in the 1950s and went on to start the business that is Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod as we know it. Derrick lives in Mashpee with his wife, Adrean, and when he's not working, he enjoys spending time at his second home in Maine. Derrick is an avid reader, a fan of nostalgic films, and a passionate animal lover, once rescuing a whole litter of baby bunnies. His dedication to both his business and personal life reflects his caring and hands-on approach in everything he does.

Adrean is Office Manager at Reliable Fence Company, where she has been a vital part of the team since 2015. A lifelong Cape Cod resident, Adrean grew up here with her five siblings and attended Cape Cod Community College where she earned an AS in Environmental Sciences. She has extensive experience in customer service and retail management. Her background in business operations has helped streamline processes at Reliable Fence, where she enjoys working alongside her husband, Derrick. Adrean is committed to growing the business, and maintaining a positive company culture for the Reliable staff, while exploring innovative ways to run a successful business and retain the company’s top-tier talent. Outside of work, Adrean loves spending time at her cottage in Maine, exploring coastal towns, hiking, and kayaking. She is also an avid reader, and animal lover, and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her twin nephews.

Eric is the Shop Manager at Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod, where he has been an invaluable team member since 2015. His journey with the company began under the mentorship of our founding father Stan Pratt, with whom he had a close bond, symbolized by a tribute tattoo in Stan’s honor. Eric has filled numerous roles at Reliable, from installer to thriving in sales starting in 2021, before stepping into his current role as Shop Manager. He oversees the workshop, assists walk-in customers, builds fences, receives deliveries, and keeps the lumber yard and workshop organized. Eric enjoys working outdoors and appreciates the flexibility and perks of his role at Reliable Fence. Known for his sense of humor and compassionate nature, Eric is an essential part of the team. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Veronica, and their son, Grayson, and playing guitar.

AK is a Fence Installer at Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod, who has been with the company and in the fence trade since 2022. Originally from Brockton, he now lives on Cape Cod and enjoys working outdoors, where every day brings something new. AK values the teamwork at Reliable Fence and finds satisfaction in making customers happy, getting to work outside, and being challenged by new projects each day. He fondly remembers installing 3,000 feet of chain link fence, now that was a job! He’s one of the tallest guys on our crew, and he counts his height as a unique asset to his many roles at Reliable, so do we! Outside of work, AK enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with friends, as well as spending time with his dog, Nala. He appreciates the nice weather of Cape Cod, living by the beach, and the strong and supportive team he gets to spend his work days with.
