Derrick, Co-Owner
Derrick is the co-owner of Reliable Fence Company and has been a key leader in the family-owned business for over 30 years. With a deep commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, Derrick oversees the operations of Reliable Fence, ensuring every project meets the company’s high standards. He routinely goes out on sales calls to meet with prospects, survey projects, and ensure customer satisfaction. Derrick proudly follows in the footsteps of his father, Stan. Stan first worked for Reliable Fence of Norwell, MA in the 1950s and went on to start the business that is Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod as we know it. Derrick lives in Mashpee with his wife, Adrean, and when he's not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors. Derrick is an avid reader, a fan of nostalgic films, and a passionate animal lover, once rescuing a whole litter of baby bunnies. His dedication to both his business and personal life reflects his caring and hands-on approach in everything he does.
Nick, Co-Owner
Nick, co-owner of Reliable Fence Company, brings decades of experience and a commitment to exceptional service in the fencing industry. In 1992 Nick started working with his uncle Mike, who had been working with Stan Pratt for decades. Now, as a key leader at Reliable Fence, Nick plays an instrumental role in maintaining the company's reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. You can often find Nick on project sites running the crews and installing high-quality fences across Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Southeastern Massachusetts. He lives in Centerville with his wife, Danielle, and is a proud father to daughter, Alyssa and son, Julien. Balancing his professional and personal life, Nick's dedication to family and his community mirrors his commitment to the success of Reliable Fence.
Adrean, Operations Manager
Adrean is Operations Manager at Reliable Fence Company, where she has been a vital part of the team since 2015. A lifelong Cape Cod resident, Adrean grew up here with her five siblings and attended Cape Cod Community College where she earned an AS in Environmental Sciences. She has extensive experience in customer service and retail management. Her background in business operations has helped streamline processes at Reliable Fence, where she enjoys working alongside her husband, Derrick. Adrean is committed to growing the business, and maintaining a positive company culture for the Reliable staff, while exploring innovative ways to run a successful business and retain the company’s top-tier talent. Outside of work, Adrean loves spending time enjoying Cape Cod's nature trails and bike paths and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her twin nephews.
Justin, Fence Installer/Foreman
Justin is a Fence Installer and Foreman at Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod, with years of experience in the fencing industry and a background in carpentry. Justin has been part of the Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod team since the business was formed in 2014, upon his graduation from technical school. He is now one of the company’s lead installers, always brings a positive attitude, and is a pleasure to work with–both the crew and our customers appreciate having him around! He’s always open to solving problems and looking for ways to improve. Raised in Hyannis and now living in Harwich, Justin loves being outdoors, taking advantage of the Cape's weather while staying active. Outside of work, Justin enjoys skateboarding with friends, snowboarding in the winter, and hiking in the summer. He spends his free time with his wife, Tessa, their lab, Ollie, and at the local skate and snowboard shop, Boarding House, in Hyannis.
Eric, Shop Manager
Eric is the Shop Manager at Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod, where he has been an invaluable team member since 2015. His journey with the company began under the mentorship of our founding father Stan Pratt, with whom he had a close bond, symbolized by a tribute tattoo in Stan’s honor. Eric has filled numerous roles at Reliable, from installer to sales, before stepping into his current role as Shop Manager. He oversees the workshop, assists walk-in customers, builds fences, receives deliveries, and keeps the lumber yard and workshop organized. Eric enjoys working outdoors and appreciates the flexibility and perks of his role at Reliable Fence. Known for his sense of humor and compassionate nature, Eric is an essential part of the team. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Veronica, and their son, Grayson, and playing guitar.
Paul, Fence Installer
Paul is a Fence Installer and shop assistant at Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod, where he has been a dedicated team member since 2022. A lifelong Cape Codder, Paul takes pride in transforming customers' properties through quality fencing, drawing from extensive experience in landscaping and carpentry. He is clear-headed and organized, and is a great mentor to the younger crew members at Reliable, always leading with a positive attitude. Paul enjoys working with his talented coworkers and appreciates the opportunity to work across Cape Cod, including memorable ferry trips to the islands for special projects. Outside of work, Paul enjoys surfing, snowboarding, fishing, and riding motorbikes. He is also a proud father to his son, Grant.
Tyler, Lead Fence Installer
Tyler is a Lead Fence Installer at Reliable Fence Company of Cape Cod, with over seven years of experience in the industry. Originally from Hyannis and now living in Falmouth, Tyler has worked in various roles, including foreman and shop worker. He enjoys the physical challenge of building fences and finds it rewarding to see a well-finished project. Tyler appreciates the supportive and personable team at Reliable Fence. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, bowling, poker, and spending time at the beach. His long-term goal is to be a homeowner and eventually start his own business. The Reliable team appreciates how hardworking Tyler is and he keeps the crew laughing with his quirky sense of humor!
